Indian men’s Hockey enter in semi-final of Tokyo Olympic on Sunday after beating Great Britain with 3-1. The three players Dilpreet Singh, Gurjant Singh and Hardik Singh helped India to enter into semi-final and defeating the Great Britain by scoring the three goals. It was a historical comeback after a long wait of 49 years in the men’s hockey. They won the quarterfinal and make the semi-final of Tokyo Olympics on Sunday after 49 years.
The first goal was scored by Dilpreet Singh in just starting of the first quarter and at the start of second quarter, Gurjant scored a goal. The India took the lead till the half time but Britain, Samuel Ian Ward scored one goal at the end minutes of the third quarter, courtesy a penalty corner. But later in the fourth quarter, Hardik Singh scored and putted India 3-1 ahead and the then lead maintained by India and ultimately won the match.
