Options for direct recruiting at CBI…

Recruitment as a sub-inspector is the most important alternative for direct recruitment inside the Central Investigation Bureau. The government of India, through Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination by the Staff Selection Commission, is recruiting sub-inspective personnel in the CBI functions under the Minister for Human Service, Public Grievances and Pensions (SSC). The SSC has performed annually for the CGL examination. Candidate nominees for Group B and Group C jobs are selected through the examination of the CGL in central government ministries and departments. The role of CBI sub-inspector level B is also one of these positions.

In the SSC CGL test for direct recruitment of the substitute inspector in CBI, only those candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree in all disciplines from a recognized university may appear. Further, as at the cut-off date of the year of examination, the age of the applicants shall not exceed 30 years.

CBI’s Direct Sub-Inspector Recruitment Process…

Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4 are the four tiers of the CGL test for direct recruitment of Sub-Inspector in CBI. Questions from General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English, Statistics, and other disciplines are asked in Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams of the first stage. Candidates who pass this level must take the Tier 3 written test, in which they must answer comprehensive questions. The next step after this is a computer proficiency test/data entry proficiency test. Tier 4. From the announcement, the syllabus for the individual CGL examination stages may be checked. The Commission should also send to the departments affected the list of applicants who were deemed successful at all stages for nomination.

Sub Inspector’s salary at CBI…

The CBI sub-inspector is assigned to operate at group B level on the basis of the 7th pay commission Pay Matrix level 7 which salaries are awarded each month (Rs 44,900 to 1, 42,400). In addition to this, there are numerous more monthly allowances and amenities.
