This is the first time in the history of the world-famous Maru Festival in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, when two records were set simultaneously in the Maru Festival-2022 in the India Book of Records. Official sources said today that both the innovations entered in the India Book of Records in Maru Mahotsav are unique in themselves and full of the original purpose of the festival, besides being the center of attraction for tourists and foreign guests from different parts of the country. are. The first record in this was the name of ‘The king of notes on the ship of the desert’. In this, 50 decorated camels were scattered on the sandy shores of traditional folk instruments, the folk artists collectively showed the scene of the folk waves in such a way that everyone listened, watched and wowed after being enchanted.
Similarly, the second record was created by the event named ‘The thrill of speed on the sand of sand’. In this, a historic race of 75 camels was organized on the sandy shores of Samarth to commemorate the Amrit Mahotsav (75th year) of Independence. This too was a unique and unique event in itself.
