Johnny Depp, American actor, film producer and musician seems to suffer from a certain condition. The actor has been nominated for an Oscar three times and received a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a César. His highest-grossing films have been the “Pirates of the Caribbean” saga with more than 3.9 billion dollars, followed by “Alice in Wonderland” with worldwide revenues of 1,024 million, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ” with 474 million and “The Tourist” with 278 million worldwide.

Vanity Fair magazine ranked Johnny Depp second in the list of “The 40 highest-earning Hollywood celebrities of 2010,” with estimated earnings of $100 million. In 2003 and 2009 he was chosen as the sexiest man alive in the world by the American magazine “People”. The actor was in the news recently because of his divorce from actress Amber Heard.

Amber Heard’s lawyers claimed that Johnny Depp suffers from erectile dysfunction in newly unsealed court documents. The actress’s legal team argued in a March 28 filing obtained by “Page Six” that the alleged medical illness may have contributed to her ex-husband’s alleged violent behavior.

“Although Mr. Depp would prefer not to disclose his erectile dysfunction status, such status is absolutely relevant to the sexual violence, including Mr. Depp’s anger and use of a bottle to rape Amber Heard,” the documents allege. Heard’s lawyers went on to state that Depp’s alleged problem would make him “more likely” to “become angry or agitated” in encounters with Amber and cause him to “resort to a bottle”.

In May 2022, Amber Heard testified that the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star allegedly raped her with a booze bottle and threatened to “cut” her face with it during a March 2015 altercation. The bottle inside me was broken… I couldn’t feel it. I couldn’t feel anything,” the actress said. Thus, Heard’s lawyers argued that erectile dysfunction is “relevant to sexual violence.” However, the jury ultimately awarded Johnny Depp $15 million over claims that he was defamed by a 2018 “Washington Post” op-ed in which Heard made allegations of sexual violence.
